Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will feature an OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate

Redmi will be launching its first gaming phone three days from now. The K40 Game Enhanced Edition belongs to the K40 series but packs some serious features to serve gamers' interests. As the launch date arrives, Redmi reveals some additional specifications of its upcoming gaming smartphone.

In a Weibo post, Redmi has confirmed that the K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition will feature a 6.43-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will feature a 10-bit panel with a 1.07 Billion Color Display, ensuring better color reproduction and transition. 

Furthermore, it will have 8192 levels of brightness adjustment that can help you adapt to every lighting condition. Other features include HDR10+ support for rich picture levels and DCI-P3 Color Gamut for better color coverage.

The official launch is on upcoming Tuesday, April 27 and till then we can expect further such reveals from the company.
