Sony is going to launch a new Xperia smartphone on 14th April

Sony is now all ready to unveil its new Xperia smartphone on 14 April. As per the recent news from its official, youtube channel, Sony has organized a launch event on the mentioned date. The new Xperia smartphone may come with Xperia 1 III also known as Xperia 1 Mark 3 and Xperia compact. The company confirmed the launch of Xperia through the Youtube banner but there is no information regarding its features or any other details.

Let's talk about Sony Xperia 1 III and Xperia compact.

Sony Xperia 1 III

There are lots of rumors that claim that Sony is targeting to launch the next model of its Xperia 1, whose Xperia II was launched last year. Well, the key changes in Xperia 1 III might be seen in the camera. As the previous models were provided with a triple camera system that has a telephoto lens that provides 3x optical zoom. And, now the company is looking forward to adding a periscope lens for better zooming quality in the next Xperia. 

Sony Xperia compact

With all the news regarding the launch of Xperia 1 III, the company might revive its Xperia compact also this year. Based on the information it can be said that the new Xperia will come with a small 5.5-inch display which includes the waterdrop notch at the top and thick bezels at the bottom. The dimensions can be 153 x 72 x 11.1mm. It will also consist of a power button with a fingerprint sensor at the right edge, the volume rockers, and a camera shutter button will also be there. It has an 8MP of selfie camera. And, a dual back camera with a 13MP primary lens. Else there are no other details regarding this.
