Realme X7 Max 5G is expected to release in India soon and is going to be the first Dimensity 1200 SoC powered smartphone in the country. The company has already started to tease the new model on its website, which clearly suggests a launch soon. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the launch is reportedly delayed.

Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth posted a photo of the phone's back panel in a tweet that revealed a design similar to the Realme GT Neo launched in China back in March. The smartphone in the image exposes “Realme” and “Dare to Leap” text illustrations on the back along with a blue-ish purple gradient finish.

This suggests that the Realme X7 Max 5G could launch in India as a rebranded Realme GT Neo. The latter features a 6.43-inch Samsung Super AMOLED full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset is paired up with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It has a battery backup of 4,500mAh  65W fast charging support.

On its website, Realme has put up the AnTuTu benchmark scores for the chipset which has an unparalleled score of more than 706,000 when compared to Dimensity 1000+, 800U, and Helio G95. Furthermore, the site mentions that the upcoming phone will feature dual 5G slim slots, thus providing a "True dual 5G" experience.

Apart from this, Realme has teased a partnership with Asphalt 9 Legends mobile racing game. However, no further details have been revealed. We can only wait for further teasers and announcements to learn more specifications about the Realme X7 Max 5G and if it is actually a rebranded version of the GT Neo.
