OnePlus to launch a dedicated theme store with OxygenOS 12

OnePlus users will soon get a dedicated theme store on their smartphones with the OxygenOS 12 update really soon. Android has always been about high customizability and though OxygenOS offers customization offers, this is a pretty decent addition.

Theme stores are nothing new and can be found in the likes of Samsung and Xiaomi. This was one of the major demands from the community and the company is finally addressing it. The theme store addition was announced in the OnePlus forums where the company announced its launch with the upcoming major OxygenOS update pretty soon.

However, it is still unclear whether the themes on the OnePlus theme store will be made free or paid. It is most likely be a mix of both free and paid, just like the other ones. We can only wait for the OxygenOS 12 launch to learn further.

In the meantime, you can join the Open Ears Forum for the theme store which will be held on May 18, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm IST. You can share your thoughts on the OxygenOS 12 theme store, make complaints, or provide some valuable suggestions. People who are selected to be a part of the OEF will be entitled to goodies, including a Hasselblad postcard, an OEF pin, and a T-shirt.
