Oneplus 9 is going to have Telephoto Lens only

Companies being going with a periscope lens in their flagships Oneplus is still no considering it for OnePlus 9, tough leaks have suggested that the OnePlus 9 will be having a regular telephoto unit. Initially, Digital Chat Station has said this and now Max Jambor has somewhat confirmed the same for the OnePlus 9, saying neither the vanilla 9 nor the Pro variant will feature a periscope module. As we have seen the trend that any great implementation in OPPO is carried to the OnePlus device. Despite the fact that OPPO and Realme have periscope lenses but still, the OnePlus 9 leaks suggest that the device won't be having one.

We have seen many companies such as Samsung providing periscope lens to almost all of their flagship devices. Talking about the rates the OnePlus is increasing they should give some equivalent specs to the category they are competing with now. Cameras on OnePlus are always great though OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has said the company will focus its R&D efforts to improve the cameras on its smartphones.

The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are supposed to hit the market in March bundled with the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC and supporting 120Hz screens, they would be AMOLED as obvious. We might be having a LITE variant that will come with snapdragon 865.
