Microsoft has launched a new Surface Laptop 4 with Intel CPU options and AMD Ryzen

Microsoft has disclosed its new surface laptop 4 series. The company has launched this new surface lineup powered by AMD Ryzen and the Intel CPU. It has two variants one with a 13.5-inch display and the other with a 15-inch display.

Let's move on to the key features of the new surface laptop 4 by Microsoft.

The design of the surface laptop 4 is similar to the design of the Surface laptop 3, launched in 2019. Both of the models (13.5 inches & 15 inches) are provided with a PixelSense touchscreen display with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and pixel resolution of 2256 × 1504 ( 201 PPI). The bezels are quite thin and there is an HD camera including a studio microphone.

Microsoft surface laptop 4 comes with a 1x USB type C port, 1x USB -A port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack. This device also has a removable SSD storage slot on the rear.

It will support battery life up to 19 hours for 13.5-inch models and for the 15-inch model it promises a battery life of 17 hours.

Pricing of surface Laptop 4 series

13.5-inch variant

This variant comes with The AMD Ryzen 5 4680U CPU and Intel Core i5 1134G7 processor. Both the models have a storage capacity of 8GB RAM and SSD storage of 256 GB. The initial cost starts from Rs. 75,132 ( $999).

But the price range of the Intel CPU model can be increased up to Rs.1,72,902 ($2,299) for the top variant which has an Intel Core i7 CPU with RAM 32GB and SSD storage of 1TB.

It will be available in the following color options :

Ice Blue and Platinum variant with tone on tone Alcantara finishing touch.
The Sandstone and Matte black has a Metal finish look.

15-inch variant

The Intel-powered model has Intel core i7 1185G7 processor and starts at Rs.1,35,299 ($1,799). Its storage capacity is 16GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage. The higher model of this model has 32GB of RAM,1 TB of SSD storage, and has a price range of Rs.1,80,422 ($2,399).

Whereas the AMD powered model starts at $1,299, it has 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and Ryzen 7 4980 CPU.

The higher model packs 16GB of RAM, SSD storage of 512GB, and a price range of $1,699 (Rs.1,27,799).

It is available in the color Platinum and matte black metal finish.

This new surface laptop 4 series will be available in the market of Japan, Canada, and the US from the 15th of April.
