Leaks are an integral part of development nowadays. This time we have some leaks for Google Pixel 5 XL surfacing the internet, but we are kind of skeptical about it. There is a strong reason for it as well. Going by the trend, Google used to release its new lineup of Pixel devices in the month of October which is far away from now. Moreover, the design seems to be a prototype or a concept render.

A YouTuber Jon Prosser, on his channel Front Page Tech has shared Google Pixel 5 XL design. The design consist of a slightly humped camera unit, having a triple camera setup with a flash at the center. The design reminds me of the Moto G5s Plus where the camera unit seems like a face looking at the world.

The design looks great but the leaks are not confirmed yet as:

1. Google used to release the next Android update along with its Pixel devices. Moreover, the next Android version is used to be introduced in Google I/O event which is supposed to be in May 2020 (in a tweet from Sundar Pichai, CEO Google).

2.  Last year we have seen Pixel 3a in a lower price segment, Google might be keeping the same trend. If so, then we must be having Google Pixel 4a first.

The design consist of a slightly humped camera unit, having a triple camera setup with a flash at the center. The design reminds me of the Moto G5s Plus where the camera unit seems like a face looking at the world. The texture on the rear is apparently also similar to previous models, and is described as a “soft, matte glass back”. With a colored Power Button that highlights it.

Prosser claims that his source is “extremely reliable” and that he’s 99.9% sure the image shown is of a Pixel 5 XL prototype.

Comment down what you think about this design, do you like it or you want something better. Though it's a long time in which Google can make up mind for something great.
