ASUS Zenfone 8 is all set to launch next week in an event scheduled on May 12. But we might not have to wait even four days to know the full specifications of the model, thanks to some new leaks.

The upcoming Zenfone will be available in two variants, the ASUS Zenfone 8 and the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip where the latter will retain the ASUS flip camera design. Tipster Mukul Sharma has tweeted the full specifications of the ASUS Zenfone 8 "Mini" as he calls it.

The Zenfone 8 will reportedly feature a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint sensor. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

It is also said to feature a dual-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor and 12MP macro lens that can support 4K slow-mo at 120fps and 8K video recording. The front camera has a 12MP sensor. The device also has a good battery backup of 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W charging.

According to a previous report by 91Mobiles, the Zenfone 8 Flip is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will also feature a Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB RAM (this might be 16 GB considering the "Mini" specs leak), and 256GB of internal storage.

The motorized camera module will feature a triple camera setup, including a 64MP main sensor, 8MP telephoto lens, and 12MP macro lens which will also support 8K video recording.

The ASUS Zenfone 8 "Mini" weighs in at 169 grams, and measure 148 x 68.5 x 9mm while the Zenfone 8 Flip weighs 230 grams, and measure 165 x 77.3 x 9.5mm. According to the leaked renders, the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip may be available in silver and dark gray colors.

The launch date is near and the devices are set to be unveiled at an event on May 12, so it's just a matter of time, before it gets official.
