Samsung users may benefit from lower repair expenses, If this initiative is implemented.

In the first half of this year, Samsung may offer a manufacturer-certified recycled parts programme. In the United States, the South Korean tech behemoth has already started a self-repair service that will supply Samsung owners with actual device components, repair equipment, and repair guides for smartphones and tablets. According to a recent report, the corporation may offer recycled parts as part of a new service that is anticipated to reduce repair costs. With this environmentally responsible strategy, Samsung hopes to recover the trust of its customers, which has recently been shaken.

According to a Business Korea report, Samsung intends to employ recycled parts to save costs while maintaining the same quality and performance as new ones. If this scheme is approved, the normal cost of restoring a damaged display might be cut in half.

Samsung recently established a self-repair programme in the United States, which also allows customers to return damaged parts to the firm for recycling. It is possible that the corporation will use these pieces in its rumoured recycled parts programme. This action is expected to reduce the quantity of electronic waste produced by discarded smartphones.

Samsung has borne the brunt of the negative publicity generated by the Game Optimizing Service (GOS) issue. The GOS function for Galaxy devices was released by the firm to increase gaming performance. Initially, the feature could not be turned off manually and allegedly degraded game quality for some people. According to a recent source, the company's recently announced Galaxy S22 series sales have suffered as a result of the dispute. These flagship handsets' pricing have reportedly been slashed to half of their original launch price. Samsung's carrier partners, including as KT and LG U+, are reportedly said to have boosted their subsidies for the Galaxy S22 devices.
