Qualcomm is all set to introduce the next iteration to its smartphone processors and we expect the name to be Snapdragon 875 and the launch by December. According to reports from South Korea, Samsung Semiconductor Company has managed to one-up TSMC by offering a much better deal and will start to manufacture the whole batch of chipsets which will be the heart for the next year's flagship smartphones.

Samsung Semiconductor Company has been the biggest semiconductor manufacturer in the past 20 years and is a big division of Samsung Electronics. This deal with Qualcomm will help the tech giant to maintain and strengthen this position. The reports suggest that the deal is for all the Snapdragon 875 chips, which will cost around $850 million and $1 billion to Qualcomm.

Qualcomm had a keynote during the IFA 2020 at the beginning of this month, where many smartphone company owners showed their interest in Qualcomm's chipsets. Some of these companies even pledge their allegiance to Snapdragon chipsets. Among them are Xiaomi and Oppo, and we can expect to see the next flagship under Mi to arrive with Snapdragon 875 by Q1.
