Samsung Game Launcher Brings Instant Games and Other Features in Latest Update

Samsung Game Launcher

Earlier this year in May, we saw that OnePlus released a major update for the OnePlus Game Space app. The update added a couple of new features, including new sections for Instant Games and Game Statistics along with some ready to play games.
Now, Following the footsteps of OnePlus’s Game Space, Samsung has also added support for instant games in its Game Launcher application with the latest update having the version number 4.3.02.6.

As you might already be aware, the major advantage of instant games is that you can play them without having to download or install separately. With the latest version, Samsung Game Launcher has a separate section that lists all the available instant games.

Samsung says - “Game Launcher is full of games that you can enjoy anytime and anywhere in your spare time. We carefully selected the games that people of all ages can enjoy immediately with just a single click,”.

On launch, the instant games within the Samsung Game Launcher are mostly from FRVR Games. You’ll be able to try out some games like Basketball FRVR, Drag Race FRVR, Gold Train FRVR, and Hex FRVR before you decide whether or not to install them fully. You can also probably just play them in instant mode if you’re okay with that. They are probably going to add more instant games to the app to capture gamers’ attention.

The Instant games feature has gained massive popularity in the recent past, mainly due to its simplicity. Several companies have been pushing such mini-games through their platforms and making the gaming experience better for users.

The update also includes a separate tab for those in-game notifications that sometimes can be useful but can also be annoying. This way you can just choose to have one place to look at all your notifications, especially if you’ve synced all the games you’re playing on your mobile device to your Samsung Game Launcher. Apart from those two major features, there are also the usual bug fixes and some minor improvements.

The Samsung Game Launcher has been receiving a lot of improvements and new features over the past few months. If you haven’t used it yet, you can see all the games installed on your phone in just one place. You can also see your play history, trending games you may want to try out, and even an option to “fine-tune” the performance of games you’ve already installed on your phone.

All these changes are now live in Game Launcher’s latest version. If you’re a Samsung user You can grab the latest version of Game Launcher from Samsung’s Galaxy Store (download)
