Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 2, its third-generation foldable phone along with the Samsung Note 20 series earlier this month. The company did not reveal the details until the start of the month. During this unveiling, the smartphone giant not only revealed the specs and hardware of the device but also the global pricing of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 at the event. Since then we have been waiting on Samsung to reveal the price of the device for the Indian market and the availability of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

But today is our lucky day as the Korean giant has not only revealed how much the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will cost in India but has also told that the device will be available for pre-order. This time the Fold series device has been priced more attractively than its predecessor, making it the better and obvious choice for multi-tasker or foldable phone enthusiasts. But no less the smartphone will burn a hole in the pockets of interested buyers.

Galaxy Z Fold 2: Indian Market Price and Availability

Samsung has priced the Galaxy Z Fold 2 at Rs. 1,49,999 in India. It has been priced cheaper than its predecessor, Galaxy Fold 5G which made its Indian debut priced at Rs. 1,64,999. It's amazing how Samsung decided to deliver a more refined and durable foldable phone Rs. 15,000 cheaper compared to the first-gen Fold. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be available in two color variants, namely Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze in India. It will be up for pre-order on Samsung.com and offline retail stores, starting from 14th September that is coming Monday.

Samsung is also offering a good deal to all its potential buyers in the form of a 12-month no-cost EMI option via its online and offline stores in India. The users will also get a free YouTube Premium subscription for four months and a 22% discount on Microsoft Office 365 along with it as well.

Both the displays will now stretch edge-to-edge and feature a punch-hole selfie camera. The display panel now sports a higher 120Hz refresh rate as compared to the standard 60Hz refresh rate of the Cover Display.
