OnePlus has been expanding its lineup in the country since it first arrived. The company entered the smart TV market back in 2019 which was followed by the budget TV segment in 2020. Now, according to a report by MySmartPrice, OnePlus will be soon launching a Plug-n-Play webcam as a part of TV accessories.

The webcam will feature a Type-C port and a mic. Moreover, addressing user's privacy concerns, the webcam will have a physical shutter. OnePlus plans to include this accessory with all their upcoming TVs. It will also be compatible with existing TVs, with the exception of the cheapest 32-inch model - OnePlus TV 32Y1. Thus, it will be available with the remaining four models - OnePlus TV 43Y1, OnePlus TV 55U1, OnePlus TV Q1, and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro.

OnePlus Plug-n-Play Webcam is said to launch sometime in May. For now, there is no further information on the product and in the future, we may learn more. The webcam may be launched along with a new TV model. Nothing is sure as of now and only time will tell the tale.
