One Plus is reworking on the Oxygen OS. It is being destroyed in favour of a suitable operating system that is going to combine the codebase of Oppo's Colour OS and Oxygen OS.

This announcement is made by Pete Lau, the company's co-founder and the current Chief Product Officer of Oppo.

Oxygen OS will be gone soon!

Oxygen OS has a good fandom but this time there is really bad news for them. OnePlus is going to destroy it in 2022.

Pete Lau has claimed that the Oxygen Os and Colour Os ( used in Oppo smartphones) will be unified into a single operating system. This news is also rolled out to prevailing OnePlus smartphones, migrating them to the new united OS.

Early this year, One Plus declared the merger of its software team with the software team of the company Oppo. And also claimed that OxygenOS will continue to be the common operating system on their smartphones.

The existing OnePlus devices are concerned, a select few will be facilitated with the new united OS system in the year 2022. Right now the OnePlus has not clarified about the phones which will get updated to the new merged OS.
