Motorola is likely to upgrade its Razr 5G foldable phone with the Motorola Razr 3 in 2022. The smartphone was previously leaked, but just a few details were given. Now, infamous tipper Steve Hemmerstoffer has revealed further information regarding the phone.

The price and colour options for the smartphone have been revealed by the tip. The Motorola Razr 3 is said to cost EUR 1,149 (about Rs. 94,375). Remember when the Razr 5G 2021 was released at EUR 1,399? (approx. Rs. 1,14,898). Nonetheless, the new model is claimed to be slightly less expensive than the previous.

The clamshell foldable phone will be available in Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue. It is scheduled to make its debut in China next month, in July. We may expect its global rollout, including Europe and India, soon after its China debut.

Motorola Razr 3 Specifications

The Motorola Razr 3 was previously given the codename "Maven." Its specifications were also leaked. The clamshell foldable phone will have a 6.7-inch foldable display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a Full-HD+ resolution.

It will sport a 3-inch secondary screen, which is slightly larger than its predecessor's 2.7-inch panel. The foldable panel on the Razr will most likely be a P-OLED display.

In terms of cameras, it will have a front-facing 32MP selfie lens. On the back, there will be a dual-camera system with a 48MP main lens and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. The Razr 3 will be available with two chipset options: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

It will include 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt UFS 3.1 storage. The battery, which is a 2,800mAh cell, will most likely remain identical from the predecessor. The phone may have quick charging capabilities. For security, it will incorporate a fingerprint scanner on the side. Finally, the phone will launch MyUx on top of Android 12.
