Montblanc Summit 3 only Second Watch to feature Wear OS3
Till date Wear OS 3 has only been available on Galaxy Watch 4 (Samsung). The Montblanc Summit 3 is the first smartwatch launching with Wear OS 3 since the Galaxy Watch 4, via some limited screenshots available we can say it is a stock version of Wear OS3.
It's going to cost $1,300 USD when it goes on sale globally on July 15th.
Wear OS 3 is the most advanced update to Google's smartwatch operating system and currently, it's functional in Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
Montblanc Summit comes with some mouth-watering features like sleep monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, Google maps, support for step tracking, workout tracking, G-pay for payments, and Google play for additional apps.
Its going to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 4100 Plus processor.
If we talk about the physical design, the watch has a titanium case(black, grey and bicolour options) common in high-end watches, with each Montblanc Summit 3 you get two straps of leather and rubber each and a case size of 42 mm plus a rotating crown.
While the features are aplenty but buyers should look out for the price, for reference Galaxy 4 watches cost around 400$ and the new Apple 7 series would charge you near 799$, a huge leap in cost is seen let's see if the watch lives up to its hype or gets burdened by its high pricing.
