Windows 7 was one of the most loved operating systems from Microsoft, and we are now moving towards the next generation of Windows which is Windows 11. Windows 11 packs some amazing features in the box and is visually appealing as well. Though it is unfortunate that the classic games that were bundled with Windows 7 are gone, we have hardly seen them since the launch of Windows 8. So if you want to install all the classic games such as Spider Solitaire, Free Cell, Chess, etc on Windows 11 and relive the nostalgic period of your free time, this guide will surely be going to help you out. Moreover, we have also listed a guide to install the most loved board game when we use Windows XP, you can now install pinball 3d cadet space on Windows 11 easily and get going with the game.
Steps to install Windows 7 Games on Windows 11:
- Download the file from above and run the setup.
- It may ask you for administrative (UAC) permission just like any other software. Grant the permission
- Once the setup is open hit the Start or Install button, this will automatically install all the Windows 7 classic games such as Chess on your Windows PC running Windows 11.
- Once the setup finishes its task, you will find all the game in your start menu "All Apps" inside the Games Folder section.
These are the simple steps that you have to follow in order to install all the Windows 7 classic games on Windows 11. Install it and enjoy playing Chess on Windows 11 for free just the way you do on Windows 7.
I have personally tested this setup on Windows 11 Insider Preview, and all the games are working seamlessly.
