India’s telecom operator Airtel has upgraded its 4G network in the country with the deployment of LTE 900 technology.

The technology has been introduced in states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Mumbai, Punjab, Delhi NCR, Himachal Pradesh, since the first quarter of 2019.

It will knowingly boost indoor network coverage. Airtel smartphone customers will enjoy improved 4G availability inside buildings - homes, offices, and malls and get additional high-speed data capacity, thus, significantly enhancing the network experience for Airtel’s smartphone customers.

Avneet Puri, CEO – Andhra Pradesh, Bharti Airtel said, “Our endeavour is to deliver best-in-class network experience to our customers. Airtel smartphone customers will enjoy a seamless high-speed data and HD quality calling experience on our upgraded network. We will continue to invest aggressively in the deployment of the latest network technologies to delight our customers.”

Manu Sood, Hub CEO- Upper North, Bharti Airtel said, “Our endeavour is to deliver best-in-class network experience to our customers. The deployment of LTE 900 across Himachal Pradesh will further boost Airtel 4G coverage, particularly inside homes and buildings. Airtel smartphone customers will enjoy a seamless high-speed data and HD quality calling experience on our upgraded network. We will continue to invest aggressively in the deployment of the latest network technologies to delight our customers.”

Moreover, Airtel has installed advanced network technologies and tools such as pre-5G Massive MIMO, 4G Advanced, and Carrier Aggregation to step up high-speed network capacity and coverage across the states.

I have keen interest in areas such as Finance, Research, Block Chain Technology etc.
