In India, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Pad 5 alongside the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The tablet combines high-end functionality with a reasonable price tag. A flagship processor, fast charging, a faster refresh rate, and other features are included. It does, however, have some disadvantages. Many of us may not want to consider it because of this. Xiaomi Pad 5: Reasons To Consider
To begin with, the Pad 5 is priced at Rs. 26,999 for the 6GB + 128GB storage model, and Rs. 28,999 for the high-end variant with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. The premium octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM is included at this price. The tablet also has up to 256GB of internal storage.
A 13MP rear camera sensor also allows up to 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. The Xiaomi Pad 5 has an 8MP front-facing camera sensor that can record full-HD (1080p) video at 30 frames per second. Aside from that, the tablet comes with quad speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio.It also comes with an 8,720 mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. The supplied charger, on the other hand, supports 22.5W power and is said to provide over 16 hours of video playback on a single charge. For the Pad, it runs Android 11 with MIUI 13.
A 10.95-inch 2.5K+ (2,560x1,600 pixels) display with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision compatibility, and DCI-P3 colour gamut is also included. In addition, the display has a pixel density of 275ppi and a peak brightness of 650 nits. The Xiaomi Pad 5 includes the Xiaomi Pad Keyboard as well as Smart Pen compatibility, which has a pressure sensitivity of 4096 and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Drawbacks
The tablet does not support the 3.5mm audio connection, despite providing a wonderful viewing experience and cinema-like sound. There is no SIM card slot because it is only available in Wi-Fi mode. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Pad has a plastic rear panel and no microSD slot. Even so, there is adequate onboard storage to save all of your data.

Until May 7, you can acquire the Xiaomi Pad 5 for Rs. 24,999 for the 128GB device and Rs. 26,999 for the 256GB model as part of the launch deal. Starting May 3, the tablet will be available for purchase through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and select offline retailers across the country. The tablet is only available in one colour: grey. You'll also need to purchase the Xiaomi Pad Keyboard and the stylus pen separately.
