Vivo launches X Fold, X Note & Pad in China
The X Fold is the company's first foldable smartphone, with a 7-inch display, while the X Note has a 5.5-inch display. In China, Vivo has introduced the X Fold, X Note, and Vivo Pad. The Chinese manufacturer's first foldable device is the X Fold, while the X Note is a smartphone with a huge 7-inch display. The Vivo Pad is a tablet with an 11-inch 2K display and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Vivo X Fold
The X Fold is the company's first venture into the foldable device market. When fully unfolded, it sports an 8-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to Vivo, it is the first phone featuring a 3D ultrasonic dual-screen fingerprint sensor.
On the outside of the phone is a nearly 7-inch display with a separate front-facing camera from the main display, which sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. A quad-camera module featuring a primary 50-megapixel sensor, a secondary 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 12-megapixel portrait camera, and an 8-megapixel periscope lens with 5X optical zoom is located on the phone's rear. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will power the X Fold.
The phone will be powered by Vivo's OriginOS Ocean, which is based on Android 11. The X Fold is powered by a 4600mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging and 50W wireless charging.
At launch, the phone will be offered in two variants: one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and one without.
Vivo X Note
The note has a huge 7-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The X Note, like the fold, is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and comes with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The note is equipped with the same quad-camera module as the X Fold.
Vivo Pad
The 11-inch Vivo Pad has a 2K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and includes a smart pencil stylus and keyboard. The tablet will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870 SoC and, like the previous devices, will run a customised Origin OS based on Android 11.
The tablet also includes four stereo speakers and an 8040 mAh battery with 44W rapid charging capabilities. A dual-camera module with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens is located on the rear. A front-facing 8-megapixel camera is located on the device.
Pricing The X Fold's base (12GB+256GB) variant will cost CNY 8999 (approx. Rs 1,07,500), while the fully-loaded (12GB+256GB) variant will cost CNY 9999. (Approx. Rs 1,19,400).
The X Note's base (8GB+256GB) variant will cost CNY 6499 (about. Rs 77,600), while the premium (12GB+512GB) variant will cost CNY 6999. (Approx. Rs 83,600).
The Vivo Pad will also be available in two sizes: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The former will cost CNY 2499 (about Rs 29,800), while the latter will cost CNY 2999. (Approx. Rs 35,800).
