Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ Phone Coming In June

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset will be available earlier than planned. According to an unnamed supply chain insider, the Plus model of Android's main chip might arrive as early as June or as late as July.

The first devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ will be released in China, although no names have been published as of yet. The reported OnePlus 10 Ultra could be an early idea, however the smartphone could employ a Dimensity 9000 or the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as the current 10 Pro.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, which will be based on TSMC's 4nm technology, will most likely be fairly identical to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, albeit with slightly higher clock rates.

According to rumours, Qualcomm will debut the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ in May.
