Realme the company’s first attempt at a fitness watch. It also reminds us of a lot of the Amazfit GTS with its choice of the color screen and fitness features.

Additional features present in the Realme Watch include smart notifications, music control, and camera control allowing users to use the smartwatch as a camera shutter button as well as to play/pause music, change tracks and adjust the volume. for the associated smartphone  From previous reports, it is expected that the Realme Watch will have a 320x320 pixels resolution display and a 160mAh battery. It is also said to come with an IP68-certified build and run on a proprietary operating system.

Realme says it will be the "biggest screen in India in the price segment". The screen will display time, date, and day, along with weather, daily step count, burned calories, and what might be the daily average heart rate. The smartwatch will have two types of straps - Classic Strap and Fashion Strap, but the latter likely won't be available initially. Firstly, the design of the Realme smartwatch is more or less clear. In the teaser images posted by the company, the device has a square Apple Watch-like screen and neon-on-black graphics. We’re not really surprised at how much it resembles the Apple Watch because that’s a trend we’ve come to accept. Thankfully, the Realme Watch doesn’t seem to have a digital crown and instead opts for a button on the right side. The Realme Watch will pack a 1.4" color touchscreen with the company logo below it While the dial of the smartwatch will only be available in a single black color, the straps will have four color options - Black, Blue, Red, and Green. The last one appears to be the same shade as Realme Band's green variant. That said, previously leaked renders of the Realme Watch revealed the smartwatch in White, Yellow, and Light Blue colors with the main module having a matching paint job.

The battery inside the watch will be 160mAh in capacity, which could give you about 7 days of life with 24-hour heart rate monitoring. The watch will be IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. You will get Bluetooth 5.0 onboard for pairing your phone with the Watch, but there will be no onboard GPS on the device. Other sensors on the device include an acceleration sensor, a heart rate sensor, and a blood oxygen sensor. The Watch will not run on Android Wear OS; instead, it will run on a proprietary OS for lower cost smartwatches. The closest equivalent device to the Realme Band would be the Amazfit Bip, a device we can describe as a smart wristband with a bigger display, and evolution from smart wristbands like the Realme Band and Mi Band 4

14 sports modes, including Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Cricket, and more. You also get a heart rate monitor and a blood oxygen level monitor on the device. Heart rate monitoring, as well as blood oxygen level monitoring (SpO2). The clasp is not visible in these renders, so we do not have any information on that as well. We can, however, spot the charging pins on what appears to be hard polycarbonate back cover plate. The Watch will very likely adopt a magnetic charger. The physical press button on the device will be used to lock and unlock the device, as well as aid in navigation with functions like returning back to the main screen.

Realme Watch supports smartphone notifications from most popular apps, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Gmail, and others. Users can also get notified about calls and SMS as well. The smartwatch pushes sedentary reminders if the user hasn’t moved in a while.

The Realme Watch will come with five preloaded watch faces within the device. However, we believe users should also be able to download more watch faces through the companion app and sync it to their Watch. We do not know if there will be any ability for third-party creators to create watch faces.

English is spoken by only 10.6% of India’s population, while Hindi is spoken by a good 57.1%. We do understand there is a difference in Hindi and English literacy as opposed to just spoken dialect, but our point still stands - adding in language support beyond English is a big advantage when targeting the Indian audience.
