Last month, After launching a new Snapdragon chipset for cost-effective 5G mobiles, Qualcomm is now going to launch its upcoming gen flagship smartphone chipset. It is to be called the Snapdragon 898, the SoC was noticed on Gerkbench early this year. According to the recent news on the website of Qualcomm, the company may launch its new snapdragon 898 chipsets in the coming Snapdragon Technology Summit 2021. Qualcomm updated the official dates for the snapdragon tech summit, recorded to start on 30th November. This event will continue for 3 days and it is expected that the company will launch its new snapdragon 898 at the tech summit. Also, the news said that there is a lot of competition among various famous smartphone brands like Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi Realme, and other companies also, to be the first ones to use the upcoming Snapdragon 898 chipset. Talking about the features of SD 898, it is said that it will feature the Cortex X2 core clocked at 3.09 GHz. For the structure, the SD chipset will follow the 1+3+4 configuration including the individual Correx -A710 cores at 2m217GHz and 4 Cortex A510 cores clocked at 1.79GHz.
