According to recent reports, The US chipset maker company, Qualcomm is going to launch the Snapdragon 895 or the Snapdragon 898 soC soon. It is also speculated that it might be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. As per the reports, it is going to launch on 30th November.

Now we will discuss the rumoured specs of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8. From all the leaked details of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1, it is going to deliver up to 20% more performance than the present Snapdragon 888 SoC. The chipset may be built on a 4nm process. The devices with snapdragon 888 chipset were associated with heat issues, hence it is interesting to see how this new chipset is going to curb down the heat. The new Snapdragon 898 chipset could feature a four cluster core layout which is going to provide a prime 2x core and is believed to be clocked at 3GHz. There are four efficiency cores, among which two will handle the low frequency and the other two will handle the high frequency. Talking about the benchmark scores of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 then for single-core and multi-core tests it is 1250 and 4000 respectively.
