OnePlus Nord CE 3 Leaked Renders Reveal Significant Design Changes

The upcoming handset is expected to be dubbed as Nord CE 3, and we haven’t witnessed too many leaks and rumors about the handset, but starting today, the renders of the Nord CE 3 have popped up on the internet, revealing the design of the phone. Here are more details about the smartphone.

The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button, not under the screen. At the back, the Nord CE 3 offers a triple camera setup divided into two traditional camera rings. The top ring offers a primary camera sensor, while the other two are accommodated on the bottom ring.

Camera section

Two standard camera rings without any modules are present on the back panel. One sensor is housed in the top ring, while two lenses are housed in the bottom. Next to it, there is an LED flash. The bottom edge features a speaker grille, USB-C port, and a headphone jack, while the top edge has a microphone and a microphone.

Popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer and 91Mobiles have shared the render of the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 3 in collaboration. The renders are based on the prototype, so taking it with a pinch of salt is recommended. However, looking at the render, the Nord CE 3 might launch with some significant changes compared to the predecessor.

Rumours & leaks

As per the leaked specifications, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The triple camera setup is said to comprise a 108MP primary sensor paired with two 2MP lenses. The device is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will reportedly be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 67W charging. 

Conclusion

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023 as the successor to the Nord CE 2. OnePlus is reportedly working on the next-gen Nord-branded smartphone, which is believed to go live in the first half of 2023.
