Now Migrate your WhatsApp Account easily across Platforms
Facebook-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is one of the most famous IM application. WhatsApp provides some clean features to back up your account onto Google Drive, which includes, Chats, Groups, Images and videos if you wish to.
The only drawback of this feature if you are moving from one platform to another most commonly, iOS and Android. In this case, there is no option of utilizing the backup of your account present on Google Drive in Android Application onto iOS Application or vice versa.
According to WABETAINFO, WhatsApp is working on cross-platform migration of chats. What it does is, you can now easily migrate all your chats from one platform to another.
WhatsApp says the main issue for enabling the feature is “difference in data formats” - backups on Android go to Google Drive, while Apple users have their chats on iCloud.
