Rockstar has been working on a remastered version of the famous GTA series which includes, GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. Recently, Rockstar has released a gameplay trailer of the remastered version of this famous GTA trilogy as Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The gameplay clearly depicts the improved graphics and visual appearance as compared to the old series.

This new GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition is said to have better controls and physics, which are being derived from GTA 5, RDR 2, etc.

GTA Remastered Trilogy Release Date and Price

Rockstar is set to release The Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on November 11 2021 digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher. The digital collection will cost $59.99 (~4500 INR).

In case if you want a physical copy of the game you have to wait for December 7 2021. For mobile devices i.e. iOS and Android, rockstar will release the GTA remastered trilogy in the first half of 2022. You can pre-order the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition from Rockstar Games’ official website.

GTA Remastered Trilogy Improvements

The GTA Remastered Trilogy is being built on Unreal Engine by Grove Street Games. The game has derived its controls and mechanics from GTA 5, moreover, the GTA trilogy is supposed to be built from the ground keeping original taste.

All three titles are going to have improved shadows, weather, reflections, character and vehicle models, high-resolution textures and a completely rebuilt lighting mechanism. The GTA Remastered PC version will have Nvidia DLSS which surely going to boost some FPS.

Xbox game pass users will have direct access to GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition on November 11. PlayStation Now subscribers will also get Grand Theft Auto III — The Definitive Edition on December 7th.

Note: You shouldn't expect Claude or Tommy to be able to swim in water as rockstar has not changed the basic game. In the GTA remastered you can expect better graphics with better controls and physics.
