New Password Manager in Dropbox as 'Dropbox Passwords'
If you use dropbox and have many accounts to manage, then dropbox is bringing its own password manager, called as "Dropbox Passwords". This app has invite-only access on the Android and iOS App store. As per the description of this app, it states that "Dropbox Passwords provide password security by storing all your passwords in one secure place, then fills in usernames and passwords so you can instantly sign in to websites and apps. You can easily create and store unique, secure passwords as you sign up for new accounts".
The main features that this app focuses on are:
- Sign in to apps and websites with one click
- Store passwords as you sign in to sites and apps, just like Samsung Pass
- Access your passwords from anywhere with automatic syncing to all your devices
As far as security is concerned, as per this app, this will use "zero-knowledge encryption" for storing and managing your password. To use this feature you need Dropbox Plus or Dropbox Professional. As this is invite-only, you can use it now if you have got inviting access, though you are having a subscription you won't be able to use it.
