At its ‘Far Out’ hardware launch event, Apple unveiled its latest generation of iPhones today. The company announced the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. While the former two bring minor upgrades over the previous-gen iPhone 13 series, the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Max feature a new pill-shaped notch, a 48MP triple camera setup, and other cool upgrades. Apple only announced the US pricing of the four new iPhone models, which starts at $799, at the launch event. Now, in true Apple fashion, the company did not share the screen size on the stage, so you will have to wait for the product page.

Apple has not increased the prices of the non-Pro models, and the iPhone 14 starts at Rs 79,900 in India, which is the same starting price as iPhone 13 from last year. The iPhone 14 Plus, which replaces the mini, is priced Rs 10,000 higher and starts at Rs 89,900 in India.

Furthermore, the aspect ratio of the Apple iPhone 14 is 19.5:9 so that you can enjoy vivid and crystal clear visuals while watching videos, playing games, or streaming movies online. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus feature a new 12-megapixel TrueDepth front facing camera with an ƒ/1.9 aperture that also supports autofocus. Video recording also gets a new stabilization mode called Action Mode that uses the whole sensor for gimbal-esque steadiness. Cinematic mode will now be available in 4K at 30 fps and 4K at 24 fps.

The camera specifications of the phone are very captivating. The Apple iPhone 14 comes with a Single camera setup on the rear which has 12 MP + 12 MP cameras so that you can capture portraits, landscapes, and more in the form of beautiful pictures. Features on the rear camera setup include Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. On the front, the mobile features a 12 MP camera so that you can click some amazing selfies and do video chats.

Apple has confirmed that iPhone 14 and 14 Plus will be up for pre-order starting from September 9 at 5:30 PM IST. There’s a slight difference in the shipping dates, though. The iPhone 14 will start shipping first, starting from September 16, whereas the iPhone 14 Plus will be available from October 7 in India.
