Xiaomi MIUI to finally get Android 10 gesture controls

Xiaomi has been rolling out Android 10 updates to its smartphones. Features that were missed in MIUI 11 ROM is Android 10's gesture controls. But Xiaomi got you covered with an update for MIUI 11 is in the works that enable a wide range of gesture navigation control. The update is currently available only for the Chinese Beta ROM at the moment for select handsets. Android 10's gesture feature is currently in testing mode and soon will be rolled out to Global ROM.

The latest MIUI 11 update enables the following gesture:

  • Swipe up from the bottom for the Home Screen
  • Swipe up from the bottom and pause for Open Recents
  • Swipe left or right form the full-screen indicator or bottom of the screen for Switch Between Apps
  • Swipe left or right from the edge of the screen to Go Back

If you are already on the appropriate ROM, you can enable gestures by going to Settings >> Display >> Full-Screen Display >> Full Screen.
