vivo expects soon-to-be-launched X90 series to catalyse its growth in the premium segment in the Indian market and these devices will also be 'Made in India', according to the company. The X90 series - scheduled for official launch on April 26, comprises two flagship devices, vivo X90 and vivo X90 Pro. The new devices aim to offer users a "superior" mobile photography and videography experience, PTI reported quoting a senior company official.

Display and Camera

Vivo X90 5G provides a wide, 6.78-inches AMOLED screen that has an impressive refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, to give viewers an immersive visual experience, the brand has manufactured this display with 453ppi pixel density and 1260 x 2800 pixel resolutions.

Talking about the Vivo X90 5G camera composition, users get a triple-camera module on its rear side. The primary camera of this module is a Wide-Angle type with an f/1.75 aperture and 50MP resolution. The other two cameras include an Ultra-Wide Angle Camera with f/2.0 aperture and 12MP resolution and a Telephoto Camera with f/1.98 aperture and 12MP resolution. A 32MP f/2.45 Wide-Angle Camera is also present on the front with Screen Flash.

Vivo X90 5G enables professionals to work with speed and accuracy with its MediaTek Dimensity 9200 MT6985 chipset, an Octa-core ( Cortex A715, Cortex X3, and Cortex A510) processor and 8GB RAM. 

A Li-Polymer type, 4810mAh battery runs the Vivo X90 5G. This particular battery is chargeable with a 120W Fast Charging mechanism.

Storage and Connectivity

There is a restricted, 128GB internal storage available within the Vivo X90 5G. As far as connectivity features are concerned, this Vivo smartphone supports Bluetooth v5.3, 4G VoLTE, A-GPS Glonass, Mobile Hotspot, 5G, Wi-Fi and USB Type-C. 

Conclusion

Earlier this month, the company had said it will invest Rs 1,100 crore more by the end of 2023 to increase its manufacturing capacity in the country, and that production in its new unit in Greater Noida is expected to begin by early 2024, as per the PTI report.
