HTC Vive Pro 2, HTC Vive Focus 3 VR Headsets with up to 120Hz Refresh Rate are launched

HTC Vive Pro 2 and HTC Vive Focus 3 headsets are recently launched at the company's ViveCon 2021 event. One of the best features of these new VR headsets is that they both had a 5K resolution that is a major modification from their predecessors. Both of the VR headsets have a high refresh rate and a wide field of view.

Pricing

HTC Vive Pro 2 

Its cost is $799(~Rs.58,700) just for the headset. It will be present in the market from 4 June. You can preorder Vive Pro 2. This also comes with a Vive Pro 2 kit which includes Vive controllers and base station 2.0. Its cost is $1,399(~Rs.1 lakh).

HTC Vive Focus 3 

Its cost is $1,300 (~Rs.95,500) and will be present in the market from 27 June.

HTC Vive Pro 2 

It has two 2.5k RGB low persistence LCD screens which have per eye pixel of 2,448×2,448 (total of 4,896×2,448) or HTC defines it 5K. It had a refresh rate of 90 Hz and 120 Hz, the Vive Wireless adapter supports 90Hz. This new VR headset has a 120-degree field of view and headphones with Hi-Res audio certifications that can be removed. HTC Vive Pro 2 includes Bluetooth connectivity and a dual microphone. This VR headset is packed with G- sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, SteamVR Tracking 2.0 and I'd sensor. 

 

HTC Vive Focus 3

This headset includes dual 2.88 inch LCD panels with a similar resolution as Vive Pro 2. It has a 90 Hz of refresh rate and FoV up to 120 degrees. Vive Focus 3 has a Hi-Res certified audio jack output of 3.5 mm, a dual microphone with echo cancellation and dual drivers. This VR headset is boasted by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2. It has a G sensor, proximity sensor gyroscope and four tracking cameras. HTC Vive Focus 3 supports a 36.6 swappable Whr battery which can be removed easily. There is a wide facial interface of 150 mm and 57mm to 72mm of IPD range. Its controllers are provided with capacitive sensors on the joystick, thumb rest area and the trigger.
