Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registration begins on May 18
PUBG Mobile was banned last year by the Government of India over privacy issues. Since then, there have been talks regarding the return of the popular battle royale title. South Korean developer Krafton teased the return of the game over the past week and finally announced the launch of the PUBG Mobile in a new avatar, dubbed Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Now, in an official blog post, Krafton has revealed the pre-registration date for the game. Battlegrounds Mobile India will go live on 18th May and players can pre-register the game on Google Play Store. However, there is no information on the iOS launch or pre-registration for now.
Players can pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India, by visiting the app page on the Play Store on May 18 and clicking the "Pre-register" button. After that, confirm if you want the game to be installed automatically whenever it is available.
Players who pre-register for the game ahead of its official launch will get exclusive in-game rewards, Krafton mentions in the blog post. “These rewards would be specific to Indian players only,” Krafton adds further.
Rumors suggest that the game will launch in India sometime in mid-June. So, we can expect the thrill and excitement to be back soon with players celebrating their win by shouting, "Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner!"
