Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Xiaomi is going to launch the latest model of their popular Mi Band fitness tracker. Xiaomi has already sent media invites for its 2018 annual product launch event in Shenzhen to celebrate its eighth anniversary. Xiaomi will launch their Mi Band 3 in that event of 31 may.
The Mi Band 3 fitness tracker had spotted it as an official listing on Xiaomi’s mobile app. According to the deleted listing, the price of the Mi band 3 will be CNY 169 ( Approx Rs 1,800 INR). While still there is no information as of now, when this fitness tracker will launch in India, but we can expect it to be launch here as well.
The Mi band 3 might have a touchscreen OLED display without any physical button, as that in MI band 2. Which means it has the support of the gesture-based action, include swiping up, down, left and right to browse through function. The report suggests that Xiaomi has focused on the design of this new Mi Band and has made the band more durable than before. However, a teaser photo reveals the Mi Band 3 will look a lot like the Xiaomi’s Mi Band 2. Apart from that, the fitness band is expected to get Bluetooth v4.2, heart rate sensor, step counter, and calorie counter. Also its IP67 splash resistance rating, NFC enabled as well as sleep monitoring.
