Xiaomi has released the Android Oreo 8.0 (Stable) for users of Xiaomi Mi A1.
Recently, the company has finished its beta testing versions of build and finally released a stable build for costumers as a daily driver.
The company held their promise which they made at the time of launch event of the device. Also, the company stated that this device will be guaranteed to get an update to Android P whenever it will be released as this device is under Android One program so it will receive updates directly from Google whenever released.
The Android Oreo update weighs 1107.4 MB in size and brings the latest Android System to the device, unfortunately, the device gets December 2017 Android Security Patch update instead of the January security update which was available with the recent beta versions.
Android 8.0 Oreo comes with an array of features including Background limits, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, An Audio API for Pro Audio, WebView enhancements and much more.
You need to be running v7.12.19 (Android N) to get this v7.12.29 (Android O) update, which is rolling out in batches for all the users.
