Microsoft announced the next version of their office suite, Office 2019 last year during their conference meeting, ‘Ignite’ in September. At the time of the launch, they showed some of the new features that will be arriving in Office 2019 and also announce office suite will be available within half of next year, that within 2018.

Bernardo Caldas, General Manager for Windows, and Jared Spataro, General Manager for Office, Microsoft dropped a bad news on the compatibility of Office 2019 which may disappoint some of the MS office fans.
It was mentioned that Office 2019 won’t run on any OS version later than Windows 10.Microsoft said that the new version will be supported on any Windows 10 SAC release and Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018. So those of you who have Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 running PCs are not getting this office suite.
Office 2019 will be getting some improved features like pressure sensitivity, tilt effects and more, new formulas and charts in Excel, Visual animation features—like Morph and Zoom in PowerPoint. “Office 2019 will be a valuable upgrade for customers who feel that they need to keep some or all of their apps and servers on-premises,” said Jared Spataro, general manager, Office, Microsoft. That’s All Folk!
