So Samsung announced the latest Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 plus during the event in New York on Wednesday. Samsung launched new 6.3 inch Galaxy Note 10 and that will offer the S-Pen experience in a relatively compact form factor while the 6.8 in Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ carriage on the tradition of note family by being the biggest galaxy note display. As we all know note devices are always full of features and latest technology and there’s no partiality with the note 10 and Note 10+ also.

As the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ have a lot of common specs. Both phones are powered with Qualcomm blazing-fast Snapdragon 855 processor and you can get up to 12 gigabytes of RAM, the display supports HDR10+ and finally, Samsung boosted the phones with fast charging speed up to 45W. The difference between the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ arises at the display, battery size, RAM and also the storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will be available in 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage LTE variant in the international market. Also, the 12GB RAM variant will be getting 5G support out-of-the-box. There is no microSD card slot in Samsung Galaxy Note 10. While the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ will be having Micro SD card with support of card up to 1 TB capacity and will be having 12 GB of RAM In a variation of 256 GB and 512 GB of built-in storage and again it will be having 5G support also. Both Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ will be having 5G support within their domestic market, that is South Korea only.

The Galaxy Note 10 has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 12-megapixel f/2.1 telephoto lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 45-degree field-of-view. Then there’s a wide-angle lens with a 12-megapixel sensor with a variable aperture (f/1.4-f/2.4) and a 77-degree field-of-view as well as optical image stabilization. Finally, there’s the ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field-of-view paired with a 16-megapixel f/2.2 sensor, which lacks any kind of stabilization.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

Galaxy Note 10+ packs an additional sensor at the back, next to the flash. Samsung is calling this VGA sensor the “DepthVision” camera, and it will let you take 3D scans of objects.

No More 3.5mm headphone jack

Finally, Samsung got rid of that 3.5mm headphone jack. While you can use USB C-type headphones that will be included in the box.

So, let’s talk about S Pen. You can swipe up or down in the Camera app to switch the cameras; left or right to go to the next/ previous mode, or move the stylus clockwise/ counter-clockwise in a circle to zoom in/ out. All these actions can be customized on a per-app basis from Settings.

Unfortunately, there is something about Galaxy Note 10 does not suit with its price. Its display is only 2280 x 1080 Full HD+, there isn’t support for expandable storage, and the battery capacity isn’t the largest at just 3,500 mAh. Which might be a little fallback for Samsung. If you want this year’s best Note, you’ll want to get the Note 10+. It has a larger display with a higher Quad HD+ resolution, a bigger battery.
