Google Fuchsia OS will be the replacement for Android and Chrome OS in the coming future. We have seen the glimpse at the development at Google I/O 2019. As per the Zircon Source Code Note, it states that the kernel manages a number of different types of Objects. Those which are accessible directly via system calls are C++ classes which implement the Dispatcher interface. These are implemented in kernel/object. Many are self-contained higher-level Objects. Some wrap lower-level primitives.

Previously the Zircon Kernel is known as Magenta Kernel. The UI of the Fuchsia is based on Flutter. A heavily optimized mobile-first 2D rendering engine.

Google has never announced the name of this new Fuchsia OS which is going to replace Android and Chrome OS. According to some reports, Fuchsia OS is kind off to sit exactly in between Android and Chrome OS. Hence it will have support for legacy applications which runs on both Android and Chrome OS.

Moreover, Fuchsia OS is supposed to run on both 32-bit or 64-bit ARM cores to 64-bit x86 processors.

Lockheimer acknowledged that Fuchsia is an experiment. As per him, Fuchsia is way more than only being just an OS for Android or Chromebook. Fuchsia is about just pushing the state of the art in terms of operating systems and things that we learn from Fuchsia we can incorporate into other products. He added to his statement.
