Fortnite for Android (List of devices that will run Fortnite 2018)

The most popular battle royal game among twitch streamers in now available on an android phone. After its huge success on PC, PS4, Xbox, and iOS device. Its still in beta mode for Android user, though it is not available for download on Google play store. The Android release has apparently been delayed as we recently reported that it will be launching as an exclusive with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. This exclusivity will supposedly last 30 days. After 30 days, Fortnite for Android devices will become available for all supported Android devices. If you’re wondering if your device will be supported, we’ve got the list of supported Android devices taken straight from Epic Games’ own website.

These devices include the latest Google Pixel phones, Huawei, LG, Samsung, and more phones. What these devices have in common is that they are all powerful enough to run the game. The reason the list is so short is likely because Epic Games is continuously testing and optimizing the game for each Android device before allowing the device to run the game. Android smartphones not included in the list like the Essential Phone, first-generation Google Pixel phones, LG G7 ThinQ, Sony Xperia XZ2, Nokia 7.1 Plus, and more should be more than able to run Fortnite Mobile on Android once they’re white-listed by Epic Games.

According to 9to5Google, it will become available about 30 days afterward on September 23rd. If you pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 you will receive $100-$150 worth of V-Bucks for free. V-Bucks can be used to purchase in-game skins, dances, the battle pass, gliders, and pickaxes. These are all cosmetic and provide no in-game advantage.
