After the release of Android Oreo 8.0 which comes with lots of improvements over the Android Nougat, now The Google has released the latest update of Android Oreo as Android 8.1 for the Pixel devices which has the following improvements :-

1. Now you can connect yourself to a open network (WI FI) directly from the notification panel.
2. Improved Bluetooth functionality with Android Auto.

3. Sets some standards for determining the type of network (WI FI) (especially public WI FI networks) to which your device is connected as ‘Slow’,’OK’,’Fast’ and ‘Very Fast’.

I. Slow -> 0 Mbps to 1 Mbps
II. OK -> 1 Mbps to 5 Mbps
III. Fast -> 5 Mbps to 20 Mbps
IV. Very Fast -> Beyond 20 Mbps

4. Improvements in the Audio Quality while recording videos

5. Increased Touch Sensitivity which means we are going to have super smooth touch screen experience.

6. Improve the smart slection experience, as when you select a word it automatically highlights the relavant words and also suggests the next App based on the selected word.
Now it can recognise the phone numbers, addresses , E-Mails and URL’s very efficiently
